The buckets designated for CSS will stay in the vestibule of the church to collect whatever food you may wish to contribute. Your generous donations of food help the less fortunate in the Montgomery area.We will sing the Ordinaries in Latin at all Masses on the first Sunday of each month. The Ordinaries are the prayers that are sung by the choir and parishioners at every Sunday Mass. These include the Kyrie, Gloria (Glory to God in the Highest), the responses at the end of the readings and Gospel, the Sanctus (Holy, Holy, Holy), the Mysterium Fideii (Mystery of Faith), and the Agnus Dei (Lamb of God). The tri-county area has been blessed with an amazing new ministry and a life-saving vehicle--the Life on Wheels mobile ultrasound unit. Traveling between Montgomery, Wetumpka and Prattville the unit proviides free ultrasounds to women considering abortion. The unit also parks across from the Montgomery abortion clinic several days a week. Male drivers needed right now. You won't need a special license--only a little training. A MISSIONARY GROUP FROM BETHLEHEM is visiting our Church May 27-28th to talk about Christian Families in the Holy Land and sell religious articles made out of Olive wood. Proceeds from sales will help support the poor Catholic families in the Holy Land. The sales will also help them remain in their homeland.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY held in the parish hall at 9:00 a.m. every Sunday, or almost every Sunday. We use the Revised Standard Version of the text (the RSV is one of two translations approved by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops). Simply to attend the class. No advance preparation or study is required. All are welcome.
